Hi, I’m Addy Dixon.

I was born with a big birthmark on my face (a port wine stain), and I love it.

I’ve had 44 pulse-dye laser treatments to contain its growth, and 43 of them were done under full anesthesia at our local Children’s hospital.

My mother has been blogging about my face for over a decade, and we enjoy connecting with readers around the world who have a unique mark like mine, or are parenting a child with one.

I believe strongly that it is a blessing to look odd, and I’m grateful for my birthmark. It’s brought so much joy to my life!
