Born with a port wine stain birthmark, I’ve had 45 pulsed-dye laser treatments starting at just five weeks old. For over a decade, my mother has blogged about my journey (which you can find here).
Through sharing my story online and connecting with incredible people worldwide, I’ve learned that looking “different” is one of the greatest blessings imaginable. It’s a gift to look unique, and it’s a privilege to turn heads when you walk into a room, even when it doesn’t always feel like it! Because I don’t see my mark as a burden, I’ve been able to build deeply meaningful connections with others.
This joy doesn’t belong only to me. My goal is to bring unity and grace to unexpected places in our divided world. Grace isn’t a weakness — it’s a choice. After all, we are all flawed individuals who thrive on real connection.
